Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SkinPros (“SkinPros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the SkinPros website at https://skinpros.shop (the “Site”), including browsing the Site, creating a customer account, placing an order, and signing up for marketing emails. It does not apply to other websites or services, even ones we may link to.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information.

Information you provide to us

When you place an order, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), and shipping address (address lines, city, state, ZIP code, and country — currently United States only). When you contact us for support, we collect whatever you choose to include in that message. When you sign up for marketing emails, we collect your email address and your brand preference selections.

Google sign-in / account information

If you create or sign in to a SkinPros account, we use Google sign-in (“Sign in with Google”) as the only way to authenticate. Google provides us with the basic profile information it shares for sign-in — your name, email address, and profile picture — and confirmation that your Google account controls that email address. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google products. Your signed-in session is stored in an encrypted, browser-only cookie; we do not maintain a separate password of our own for your account.

Order, payment, and fulfillment information

We record the contents of your order (products, quantities, and the server-calculated subtotal, shipping, and total), the fulfillment information above, and the order’s status (for example, pending payment, paid, or cancelled). Once an order is paid, we also record shipping and package-tracking information related to fulfilling it.

We do not directly collect or store your full card number, card verification code, or bank account number. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe’s own checkout page and are handled by Stripe and AminoPros Digital (the payment application SkinPros uses to reach Stripe) — see “Service Providers” below.

Device, cookie, cart, and security information

We use a small number of purposes for cookies and browser storage:

  • Shopping cart: the contents of your cart are stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device so your cart is remembered between visits. This is not sent to us until you begin checkout.
  • Authentication session: if you sign in, an encrypted, secure, browser-only session cookie identifies you as signed in on subsequent requests.
  • Security / anti-fraud tokens: short-lived, single-use tokens (for example to confirm an email link or prevent a duplicate request) that expire automatically and are not used to track you across other websites.
  • First-party attribution: if you arrive from a campaign link, the Site may store advertising-click and UTM parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, fbclid, gclid, and ttclid) in a first-party cookie named skinpros_attr and in local storage on your device, for about 90 days, so we can understand which campaign brought you to the Site. This store does not include your email address, review content, or marketing-preference data.

Analytics and advertising measurement

The Site includes optional, environment-controlled analytics and advertising-measurement code for Meta (Pixel and Conversions API), Google Analytics 4, and TikTok (Pixel and Events API). These tools are used, when configured, to measure page views, product views, add-to-cart, checkout initiation, and completed purchases. They are not used for product reviews or newsletter sign-up as advertising conversions.

This measurement is not active unless the corresponding measurement IDs and, where applicable, server tokens have been configured for a given environment. Local development and this integration work are designed to run with those values absent, in which case no Meta, GA4, or TikTok pixels or conversion APIs are loaded or called. We do not use session-replay or heatmap tools.

When measurement is enabled, purchase events are sent only after SkinPros has confirmed a paid order on the server. If an email address is used for conversion matching, it is normalized and hashed (SHA-256) on the server before it is sent; we do not send the raw email address to advertising providers.

Marketing preferences and communications

If you choose to sign up for marketing emails, you can select which brand updates you want: SkinPros, AminoPros, and/or TelemedicinePros. Choosing one of these means you are explicitly requesting updates from that brand — we do not enroll you in a brand’s updates automatically just because you created an account or placed an order. You can change these selections, or unsubscribe from all marketing emails at once, at any time from your account preferences page or the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

How Information Is Used

We use the information above to:

  • Create and secure your account and process your sign-in.
  • Process, ship, and provide customer support for your order, and communicate with you about it (for example, a payment confirmation or shipping update).
  • Calculate accurate pricing, shipping charges, and order totals.
  • Send the specific brand marketing emails you have opted into, if any.
  • Maintain the security of the Site and prevent fraud, abuse, or duplicate transactions.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Site and our hosting infrastructure.
  • Measure Site usage and advertising performance when the optional analytics and advertising-measurement tools described above are configured.
  • Comply with applicable law, tax, and accounting obligations.

When Information Is Disclosed

We do not sell personal information. Unless the optional advertising- measurement tools described above are configured and enabled, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used under California law. When those tools are enabled, we may disclose hashed identifiers and conversion events to Meta, Google, and/or TikTok for advertising measurement. We otherwise disclose information only to the service providers below, each of which processes it on our behalf to operate the Site, and only when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer (for example a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy continuing to apply to your information.

Service Providers

The categories of service providers below process information as necessary to perform their function for us. We do not control, and this Policy does not cover, how each provider independently uses information for its own purposes under its own privacy policy.

  • Google — sign-in / authentication (Sign in with Google).
  • AminoPros Digital — the payment application SkinPros uses to reach Stripe Checkout. Your card statement or bank statement may show “AminoPros LLC” as the merchant for a SkinPros order, because SkinPros and AminoPros Digital share the same underlying payment account.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment card details directly; we do not.
  • Supabase — our database provider, used to store order, account, and preference records described above.
  • Vercel — our website hosting provider. Vercel generates standard operational web-server logs (such as request timing and status) in the course of serving the Site.
  • Resend — our email provider, used to send order emails and, only if you opt in, marketing emails.
  • BTC Postage — our shipping label provider, used to purchase and track shipping labels for paid orders.
  • USPS — the shipping carrier that delivers your order and provides tracking information.
  • Meta — optional advertising measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), only when configured for that environment.
  • Google Analytics 4 — optional website and ecommerce measurement, only when configured for that environment.
  • TikTok — optional advertising measurement (TikTok Pixel and Events API), only when configured for that environment.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, for as long as your account is active, for as long as needed to fulfill and support an order, and for any additional period required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations. We do not currently commit to a fixed retention period for every category of information, because the appropriate period can depend on the type of record and applicable law.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, encrypted session cookies, and limiting access to information to what each part of the Site or each service provider needs to function. No method of storing or transmitting information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can review or update your account information after signing in, and you can change your marketing preferences or unsubscribe from all marketing emails at any time from your account preferences page or via the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. If you unsubscribe through your email provider’s own global unsubscribe feature, that choice is always honored and takes priority.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of certain personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses of it, without discrimination for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact us at support@skinpros.shop. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Please note that deleting your account may not remove order, tax, fraud-prevention, or other records that we are permitted or required to keep.

California Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended). We are not representing that SkinPros meets any particular business-size or revenue threshold that would make the full California Consumer Privacy Act applicable to us; we describe our practices here regardless. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. Unless optional advertising-measurement tools are configured and enabled, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we have not implemented a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism. If those tools are enabled in a way that requires such a mechanism under applicable law, we will update this Policy and implement it.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@skinpros.shop and we will take appropriate steps to address it.

External Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any website we do not operate, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
